Our official betting partner Sportingbet take a look at the odds on offer for Saturday's Premier League clash against Villa at the Lane...

Tottenham Hotspur v Aston Villa

A fantastic win for Spurs on Wednesday night as they steamrollered Dutch side Twente Enschede 4-1 in the Champions League to head Group A alongside defending champions Inter Milan. Those of you who got stuck into the 4/5 on offer with Sportingbet would have had a double celebration on Wednesday evening.

This weekend it's back to White Hart Lane as Aston Villa visit on Saturday afternoon and if you fancy backing Tottenham again you can get involved at odds of 9/10. Even better than Wednesday! Has new Aston Villa manager Gerard Houllier found his right side yet? Are they good enough to come to the Lane and win? It's all food for thought with the 9/10 carrot of backing Spurs dangling.

Rafael Van Der Vaart and Roman Pavlyuchenko scored three of the four goals on Wednesday night and it's no surprise to see them at the top of the First Goalscorer betting for this match. The Dutchman is 11/2 with the Russian the 5/1 favourite. Gareth Bale was another scorer and he's available at 8/1 while Luka Modric has been chalked up at 11/1. Who takes your fancy?

The corresponding fixture last year ended 0-0 and while it's a pretty dull bet it is available at a rather large 12/1! More exciting bets in that market include the 7/1 that Spurs win 1-0 and the 17/2 that the home side come away with a 2-0 win. How about a bet at 15/2 with Sportingbet that Spurs get a 2-1 victory?
