Sound Offs: On Keane

Posted on 3 September 2002  - 12:00

Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Dom Davey: Finally we have put right the big mistake of spending eleven million on a player and bought somone (who we should have bought off Wolves) at extremely cheap price. An absolute bargin for an extremely talented player with a very bright and exciting future.

Shamsul Sulaiman: The recent signing of Robbie Keane is the best signing so far under Glenn Hoddle. Teddy and Les are getting older Robbie will be the new King of the White Hart Lane and we hope this dream could be happen and will provide spurs with the new dimension of striking force.

Charlie Chan: Brilliant. He will fit in very well, and will only get goals. Partner him with Sheringham, and bring on Sir Les and Rebrov every so often, and in the case of Rebrov, give him a few games. See is he can regain the form of Kiev, and if he can, then I can see with him and Keane in the future spearheading our attack in the champions league.

Marcus Allian: Keane is a definite starter...and I believe that Hoddle should rotate Sheringham and Rebrov as the 'second' striker. I hope that Sheringham will be used more sparingly this season, maybe as a super-sub, but I can't see that happening.

Matt Townsend: My new favorate preffered front parnership would be rotating partnerships of Sheringham with Rebrov and Keane with Steffen as I think Keane and Steffen have a large amount raw talent and would achieve more with constant parteners where Sheringham and Rebrov both have great vision.

Stuart Luscombe: With Robbie now on board, Iversen and Keane with Teddy slotting in just behind them is the perfect solution. Les is great at coming off the bench, he will always score but does not seem able to last 90 minutes! As for Rebrov, A complete waste of money we should try to get some of the money back when the transfer window next opens up.

Kiran Neilson: I'd like to see a front line of Keane with Iversen as this would be a good combination of Keane's pace and Iversen's height and strength - they can also both be very skillful with the ball at there feet. I would also like to see the posh boys (Davies and Ethers) on thw wings as they seem to be amazing at the moment.

Andris Apsa: It has to be Teddy and Keano, Teddy's quick thinking and Keane's pace and finishing ability a perfect partnership.

Daniel O'Dell: Robbie Keane and Les with Sheri just behind.

James Hopkin: Teddy with Robbie Keane will be an awesome strike force.
