Matte Brown: I would say Bunji, Deano, King all at the back.
Luis Garcia: I think that at the moment we are looking very good at the back, actually
this is the best team that I have seen in a long time. We must not forget that "Bunje" can play in midfield. Although we already have a capable midfield, I'm a firm believer in letting youngster's in the team, but I think there is a time and a place.
Daniel Mendleson: Clearly King is the first name on the team sheet in terms of defenders - and rightly so. Doc was playing so well before he got injured and I think he is a better all round defender than Perry due to his distribution skills. Deano probably gets the third spot as he is an experienced Premiership defender but lets not forget the 'classy' Gardner who
certainly deserves his chance. Isn't it great to have such problems in defence!
Will Hewitson: Ledley has filled Sol's boots perfectly, perhaps even better than Campbell
himself ever did. Richards is a class signing and should always be included where possible, as for the third back line member; I think at the moment its gotta be Perry, he is playing as well as he was with the Dons at the moment and looks really steady and confident at the back.
Paul: Best defensive trio, without any doubt, is Deano, King ledley and the Doc. And they have the best nicknames too. I would be tempted to try Bunji instead of Freund (who, despite playing well this season, doesnt appear to have enough stamina).
Richard O'Donoghue: Stop criticising Chris Perry, fellow Spurs men, he's a superb defender - maybe not England quality but he is without question a premiership class centre back. Also Ledley and Deano our are first choices, I think it's up to Bunjy, Gardner, Perry, Thelwell and Doherty (when he's back) to compete for the other place at the back. At this moment I'd go for Perry and see how Gardner and Doherty develop, you know break them in slowly. Bunjy I have not seen enough of yet and Thelwell got a lot to prove to get into this backline.
Dominic Teo: Bunje, King & Richards would be my favourite. I think everyone should be given a chance. To have the best answer is to try them out on the big stage.
Craig Bates: I myself play in defence and beleive that the way our defence is performing with Deano, King and Perry, we should stick with out it. They have learnt to work together with confidence which gives them a great advantage. We are playing better than we have been for a long time under Glenn, he gives the team spirit and a much greater will to succeed, especially thanks to his history with Spurs. I am totally behind this decision and think it will really pay off!
Wayne Rutter: Deadly Ledley and Deano should be in the England squad so definitely those two and I reckon the Doc. Chris Perry as had a great season but is prone to make silly mistakes.
Paul Watts-Othen: I think the back three should be Bunje, King and Richards. I saw Bunje
against Fiorentina in pre-season and he was class.
Gary Smith: It's a tough one as we've so many quality centre backs at the lane. but I'd go with King, Richards and Bunjevcevic for now, with Gardner stepping in for Bunje when he's a bit more ready.
Jim Clarke: Deano, Ledley and Chris Perry. No reason to change format. I think Bunji's ultimate role could be Steffen Freund's holding role. Gardner - one for the future.
Paudie O'Sullivan: I believe at the moment King, Richards and Bunjevcevic. Bunj is a better
passer of the ball than Perry. But when Carr comes back the team should go back to 4 at the back. No team as ever won the English league/European trophy with 3 at the back.
Ian Waldock: I think King, Richards & Perry is working, but Bunji is a great talent and
should be given a chance. Gardener, I think he needs a chance but I aint seen enough of him to rate him. Thelwell needs another year before given his chance.
Michael Georgides: King and Richards are working very well together, and when everyone's fit
I'd have to say Doherty would be best to partner them. However Bunjy is looking pretty good so far too! P.S Glenn should buy Bobby Zamora from Brighton!
Paul Felgate: I'm at college in Cheshire and know a lot of Port Vale Fans who absolutely rave about Gardner so I think he deserves a shout. Other than that get rid of Perry and keep Deano, King and Bunje at the back. They play better together, as proven by the second half performance against Bolton.
Bernie Covus: Richards, Bunje, King - that's the three for me.
