All 80 children from the Village, where the Spurs House has been based for the past four years, were our guests at Coca-Cola Park for the Vodacom Challenge Final between Spurs and Orlando Pirates.
The Spurs House is uniquely funded by monies received from player fines, as captain Michael Dawson explains in the piece.
‘Daws’ also speaks on his meeting with young Aubrey Wilson at the game – the orphan he sponsors through the Club’s charity partnership with SOS Children.
Aubrey is also featured within the piece, as well as 18-year-old Tshegofatso Moselakgomo, who speaks about the opportunity being given to her to study at the University of Johannesburg by the Club paying her tuition fees.
