The Camden-born 21-year-old joined the club's Academy in July 1998 and signed professional terms in March 2000, having regularly featured in England age-group sides.
He enjoyed two loan spells last season at Swindon Town and Colchester United before, this season, stepping up to Division One with a loan stint at Coventry City where he scored two goals.
He was recalled from Highfield Road just ahead of the Boxing Day encounter against Portsmouth and made his Spurs senior at Fratton Park. He has since made 11 first team appearances - scoring a memorable first goal in the 4-2 win over Charlton at the Valley.
Acting boss David Pleat commented of the contract award: "He has made good progress this season and has shown a good attitude. I hope he continues to take his opportunities."
Popular midfielder Johnnie Jackson has been rewarded for his displays this season with a new contract to remain at the club.
