Sol searching for away win

Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Sol Campbell admits it’s time we started picking up points on our travels.
Many will see Saturday’s trip to the Premiership’s bottom-side Bradford City as the perfect time to do that.
Yet City have only lost three times at Valley Parade, clearly have an injection of confidence after the appointment of new boss Jim Jefferies and won their last home game against Coventry City last week.
They also have the added incentive of the chance to move off the bottom — it hardly adds up to the easy game many are predicting to open our away-day account.
Skipper Sol said: “It’s not going to be an easy game at all. It will be a hard game but the lads will definitely be up for it and we need to get a good result away from home.
“That will be in the back of our minds, that we need to get a result. We’ve been fantastic at home and now we’ve got to take it away from home.”
Campbell tasted his first away defeat since his mid-September injury at Old Trafford last weekend. In-between, he missed four reverses in a current sequence of seven straight away defeats.
He revealed: “I haven’t noticed anything different away from home. Obviously United was my first away game for a long time and it was always going to be difficult anyway. I think we have to start picking up some points away from home and let’s start from Saturday.
“If we can start picking up some points away from home it would make a big difference.
“You’ve got to respect who you are playing against and then impose yourself on the game, approach it right, do the right things and I’m sure we can work out a way to win away from home.”
Listen to Sol's thoughts by clicking here
By Paul Miles
<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
