Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Fredi Kanoute departed early as our reserves drew 0-0 against Nottingham Forest at the City Ground on Wednesday night.

The Mali striker went off as a precautionary measure after feeling cramp in his right hamstring.

Reserve coach Clive Allen reported afterwards that the problem wasn't expected to be too serious although Fredi would undergo tests on Thursday.

We looked dangerous going forward in the first half without seriously testing home keeper Pascal Formann. At the other end, Rob Burch didn't have a save to make all night.

Rohan Ricketts forced an early low save from 25 yards after four minutes and Mark Yeates poked wide after charging down Wes Morgan's attempted clearance.

Forest, benefiting from the clever play of Eugene Bopp up front, had a couple of promising situations that came to nothing.

Stephane Dalmat almost scored a goal out of nothing with one of his trademark, quick-footed dribbles but lost control after threading a path through about six defenders.

He then missed the best chance of the half, placing a careful shot wide from 10 yards from Yeates' cutback.

The second half passed without too much goalmouth incident until the 71st minute when Dalmat's burst from the half-way line appeared to end via a defender's trailing leg but appeals for a penalty were waved away.

Dean Marney fired the best chance of the night wide from a tight angle six yards out three minutes later and it looked inevitable that our godd possession wouldn't be rewarded.

One more chance followed, three minutes from time. Butch gathered a corner and threw straight out to Ricketts on the charge, he fed McKie whose early cross was heading for one of three between Yeates, Dalmat or Lee Barnard when Forest defender Craig Doig sliced it onto the roof of the net - it was that sort of night.

Half-time: Forest 0-0 Spurs

71mins: Dalmat burst from 50 yards into box, went down, legitimate penalty appeals waved away.

74mins: Good work from Yeates, slipped pass to Marney who blasted wide from six yards.
