The Portuguese star gets his chance with Fredi preparing for the African Nations Cup with Mali - he made his debut for Mali in a 2-0 friendly win against Algeria yesterday.
Acting boss David said this afternoon: "We will have to change the team tomorrow with Fredi's absence and Helder will have the chance to show what he can do, he will start.
"We might have to make another change elsewhere because of a slight injury, we won't know until the morning. It's a shame because the lads have showed promising attitude and character in the last few games."
Michael Brown is in the squad for the first time having completed his suspension after joining us from Sheffield United on January 1. He scored twice for the reserves in his first Spurs game on Monday.
