Our super skipper gave us his thoughts as we pass the quarter-way mark in the Premiership season sitting pretty in third after 10 games.
"I think if you look at it from a positive point of view it's a very good season so far," reflected Teddy at Spurs Lodge. "We've had 10 games and we're third in the league.
"There have been a few questions marks recently that we haven't played the top teams but that doesn't matter to me. We've played Premier League teams and you can win or lose against any of those teams.
"We've known in the past where we've come up against the teams lower in the table and got beaten, so we're third on merit and we're very pleased with that.
"We've had a lot of injuries as well so when the boys finally come back, two or three have come back recently and there is still two or three to come back as well, we'll be in good shape.
"And we can go on from this, we know we can. We haven't played the best football but we've ground out results and that has been very encouraging."
Teddy was particularly impressed with the players who took us top of the league earlier in the season as the squad was hit by up to 13 injuries at one point.
He added: "You have give a lot of credit to the lads who have played so far. We've had players out of position and ground out results when we weren't really there to win the games. Full credit to them."
Teddy Sheringham takes only positives from the season so far - and believes our best football is still to come.
