The squad were up bright and early on Monday for a 7am run in a forest near to our training base just outside Gothenburg.
After breakfast, it was back on the training pitch for a circuits-style session, running and ball work.
And the lads are due out again later this afternoon at 5pm local time, 4pm UK.
First assistant coach Martin commented: "Perhaps the players are moaning without us knowing but in Holland or Germany when you wake up at 6.30am and go training at 7am everyone is moaning. They will do the work, of course, but they will moan.
"I've heard no-one moan. We went out early this morning then did a circuit with eight stations, some ball work and it was good.
"This is the fifth day in total (in pre-season) and I hope we will be in good shape and then get going on the ball.
"At the moment it is all about running and we've done a lot of hard work. We've been pleased with Sean Davis and Pedro Mendes. It's good to see for us but hard for them."
Meanwhile, Martin explained that the pre-season work load is not different to other countries on the continent despite preparing for the high-octane Premier League.
"It is the same fitness," he added. "The boys are fit and have no problems with running but abroad that isn't always the case.
"English players are fit because they have to be on their toes all the time and that's the reason, when I played in England, that we didn't train too much because we played so many games. That's still the case."
Martin Jol has announced his delight at the response of the players so far at our Swedish training camp - after registering a distinct lack of moaning!
