The Tottenham Hotspur Ladies FC Under-11s completed the second leg of their double yesterday by beating QPR in the Herts Girls Football League Cup Final.
A first half blitz by Spurs left QPR reeling with a half-time score of 4-0, thanks to a Lindsey Cockle goal and a well taken hat-trick by Aimee Rose.
Rangers threw everything at Tottenham in the second half and gained a late consolation to make the score 4-1, but they could not deny the Spurs girls their moment of fame in picking up all the silverware in their section for this season.
Manager Kevin Fenn said: "The young girls in this seven-a-side team have produced an unbeaten league season and reached the final this cup as well as the London Youth FA Cup, only to lose that on penalties.
"It has been a great effort by the whole squad who are a group of players who can do very well in the future."
