All the action as Jermaine Jenas' fine strike secured a 1-0 win in our UEFA Cup first round, first leg at Slavia Prague.

Tom Huddlestone and Teemu Tainio were drafted into midfield from the team who played at Manchester United last time out, with Edgar Davids on the bench and Hossam Ghaly injured.

THE KEY ACTION...

7mins: Not too much to report in terms of early goalmouth action, Huddlestone had one shot blocked, Dawson has been equal to a couple of early high balls.

8mins: Jenas broke play up in own half, pushed forward and played ball wide left to Mido, he struck a fine low cross across the six-yard line but Defoe had checked his run back out again and the ball ran out of play.

14mins: Good work from Tainio and Defoe worked an opening down the left for Mido, he hit the byline but couldn't keep cross in play.

22mins: King flick header from Jenas corner flew wide.

23mins: Slavia's best move yet, Hrdlicka fed ball into Svento's path, he skipped past Chimbonda and clipped cross to far post, Vlceck headed back into danger area but Robinson was there to firmly punch away.

28mins: SUB - SLAVIA. Goalkeeping change, Kozacik on for injured Vorel.

30mins: SAVE. Early test for Kozacik as Chimbonda connected with Jenas' corner, header went through plenty of bodies but Kozacik was alert to it and tipped away diving to his right.

34mins: YELLOW CARD. Botelho booked for foul on Huddlestone, a 50-50, Huddlestone back on but limping.

38mins: GOAL - SPURS. Huddlestone broke up play in our half and fed into Mido's feet, he controlled and passed to Zokora who broke forward some 40 yards before rolling perfectly-weighted pass for Jenas to stroke first-time shot across Kozacik into the far corner.

59mins: Ball broke out of tackle for Hrdlicka in central midfield, Chimbonda caught between pressurising him and covering his own man, allowed Hrdlicka to shoot but Dawson there to make superb block.

61mins: Hrdlicka involved heavily again, this time failed to get hold of attempted shot from 30 yards only for ball to go straight to Vlcek, he played it back and Hrdlicka's second effort much closer, a curer from 25 yards that flashed just wide.

62mins: SUB - SLAVIA. Fort for Botelho.
