Slabber on song

Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Spurs U17s 2 West Ham 2

In-form Jamie Slabber struck twice to take his tally to five goals in three games as our Under-17s made it three 2-2 draws out of three in the FAPAL.

Jimy Neighbour's boys dominated the first half and were unfortunate to go into the break with the scoreline still goalless.

West Ham came into the game in the second half and opened the scoring via a corner routine on the hour.

It took just five minutes for us to respond with a free-kick of our own as Slabber headed home but Hammers went back into the lead via another set-piece.

With time running out Nicky Wettner was upended in the area and Slabber converted the penalty for a well-deserved point.

"We played well in the first half and created a few chances," summed-up Jimmy. "They came into it after the break and looked quite dangerous.

"We were disappointed to concede the goals how we did and that's something we'll look to improve but we deserved the point."

Spurs U17s: Rutherford, Perry, McKie, Barnett, Tyrie, Dobson, Noto, Black, Slabber, Wettner, Ford. Subs: Yeates, Eyre, Malcolm, Watson, Francis.
