FA PREMIER ACADEMY LEAGUE
Wolverhampton Wanderers U17s 0-1 Spurs
Jamie Slabber made it six of the best as the Under-17s deservedly brought the points home from the Midlands.
The striker made it six goals in just four league games with a 14th-minute effort after good work from Nicky Wetner.
In the end that was enough but, as boss Jimmy Neighbour reflected, it was a case of how many it could have been.
"We played very well," said Jim. "We passed the ball as well as we have this season and created a lot of chances. Unfortunately, we only scored one.
"We dominated the game and it always looked a case of how many we would score. In the end it was only one but I don't think it would be unfair if I said it could have been four or five. That's a credit to the lads."
