The midfielder, back from a virus, is targeting a full shift at Carrow Road after breezing through 45 minutes on his return against Palace reserves last week.
Simon reports no problems since his comeback and is bursting to return to first team duties.
"I'm enjoying my football again and looking forward to getting back towards the first team," he beamed at Spurs Lodge on Monday.
"Last week went well and I've trained hard Thursday, Friday, Saturday and today (Monday), it's been good training and I've felt good.
"It's enjoyable to be able to play again the way I know I can. I'm looking forward to Norwich on Wednesday, hopefully I'll play the full 90 minutes and we'll see where I am after that.
"That will be the next real test. Hopefully I'll come through unscathed and then I'll be knocking on the manager's door!
"If I can get 90 minutes on Wednesday night I'll be speaking to Chris and Martin on Thursday and telling them I'm ready. It would be great to be involved on Saturday, even to be on the bench would be fantastic."
Simon Davies hopes to be knocking on Martin Jol's door later this week with 90 minutes under his belt from Wednesday's reserve match at Norwich.
