The Welsh midfielder is yet to score this season but is relishing the prospect of a trip back to Craven Cottage and the Premiership clash against Fulham.
He has good memories of the famous old ground, home again to Fulham after a couple of seasons sharing with QPR at Loftus Road.
Simon scored the winner in the League Cup tie almost three years ago on our road to the final in 2001-02. He also scored in a 4-0 home drubbing of Fulham that season and played again in what was our last visit to the Cottage in March 2002, a 2-0 victory.
"I've good memories of Craven Cottage," said Simon. "I certainly remember scoring in the League Cup there and also I scored against them in the Premiership.
"Hopefully I'll get another on Saturday because it's much needed."
Simon is confident of our chances on the road - Wednesday night's 4-3 thriller at Bolton added to that belief after league wins at Everton and Newcastle.
"Any time you go away from home in the Premiership you'd take a draw but we've already won a couple of games and we know we're capable of doing it," said Simon back at Spurs Lodge.
"Coming off the win at Bolton that should add confidence. It's another London derby and if we can produce another defensive display like we did at Chelsea we'll have a chance."
Simon Davies is hoping to rediscover his goalscoring touch as he returns to one of his happy hunting grounds on Saturday.
