The top half of the Premiership table now appears as congested as a motorway in rush hour with teams, even at this stage, jockeying for the leading spots that bring the greatest reward come the end of the season.
Very few teams have taken the Premiership by the scruff of the neck and it is all still there to play for in terms of European places.
We are now level with one-time leaders Liverpool, who have not registered a league win in 11 games, but both teams are only one point off fifth place, four off of fourth and just six off third.
Simon feels that, with a great collective effort, we can get to where they want to be if a run is put together.
"It's tight," he agreed. "We've had a couple of losses and we need to stick together - the fans and everyone. It is such a tight league and with a few wins on the trot we could be right back up there.
"It is getting to that time where it is vital to stick together until the end of the season."
