The Noah's Ark Rainbow Run takes place on 25 June 2017 in the Allianz Park Stadium and anyone who signs up before Friday 9 June can get £5 off their registration. It is a key event in the calendar for the charity, which supports children and young people with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions across Central and North London and Hertsmere.
A fun day out for the whole family, the course is suitable for all ages and abilities. Participants can run, jog or walk to the finish line or complete the alternative 3K wheelchair and buggy route.
Doors open at 12 noon for a warm-up dance session with the race starting at 1.15pm.
All participants will be supplied with a free white t-shirt ready to be showered from all directions in blue, green, pink, orange and yellow paint by marshals stationed along the way - leaving them resplendent in every colour of the rainbow!
There will be a barbecue and refreshments on sale for runners and participants to enjoy after the race.
People can enter individually or in teams of family, friends and workmates. Trophies and Noah's Ark team building activities will be awarded to the top fundraisers, so businesses, colleges and other organisations are encouraged to enter teams and help drum up some friendly rivalry.
Karen and her two daughters took part in the last Rainbow Run. She said: "Noah's Ark is an amazing cause, which we benefit from ourselves, so we were keen to give it a go. On the day, the girls had a great time. Fresh air, exercise and getting themselves and their wheelchairs totally messy, while feeling we were doing a bit of good for Noah's Ark - it was a win-win situation!”
Alison Goodman, Director of Income Generation and Communications at Noah's Ark said: "The Rainbow Run is a regular Noah's Ark fixture, but this year we're making it bigger and more colourful than ever.
"The event is all about having fun with friends, family or work colleagues at the same time as raising money for Noah's Ark. It's less about speed, more about having an unforgettable experience!
"Every penny raised means we can provide more of our vital care and support services to children in your local area."
Martyn Gerrard estate agent is the event's official sponsor. Managing Director, Simon Gerrard said: "We are proud to be supporting Noah's Ark; they do amazing work and we are honoured to be teaming with them again for the 2017 Rainbow Run."
The Rainbow Run will take place at Allianz Park, Hendon, NW4 1RL between 12 noon and 4pm on Sunday 25 June 2017.

In March 2016 the Club announced a two-year charity partnership with Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice - North’s London’s only ‘Hospice at Home’ service providing support for children and young people with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions and their families.
The partnership sees the Club help raise awareness of the work of the charity and drive the recruitment of volunteers via high profile events and the support of the First Team players.
