Shoot for a holiday

Posted on 19 December 2003  - 12:00

Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Shoot for a Holiday is back for our home game against Charlton on Sunday December 28th.

Supporters again have the chance to play on the hallowed turf here at White Hart Lane in front of 36,000 fans, with the chance to actually score a goal and at the same time pick up a Thomson holiday worth £1,000.

As usual Spurs legend Martin Chivers will be on the pitch describing the action and he believes it will take something special to beat the times recorded the last time out at half time during our game with Aston Villa.

"Those two were certainly the fastest I can remember," said Martin. "The Villa fan Neil was particularly quick and he certainly deserved to win on the day but our Spurs fan Andy gave him a good run for his money.

"Actually I really don’t recall us having any times under eight seconds before that game at all! Our competitors at the Charlton match will have to go some to beat those two but I’m sure they’ll give it their best shot."

All entries must be submitted by the December 19th and the lucky person, who will be selected at random from all the entrants, will also get two tickets to the match and a full kit to keep!

Don’t forget, Season Ticket Holders and members can now get 5% off the cost of their holidays when they book on the Spurs Holiday Line 08705 502 568.
