Martin Jol made two changes to the side that beat Reading on Sunday - Paul Stalteri returned to the line-up for Ricardo Rocha, who is ineligible in the UEFA Cup having played for Benfica in the Champions League while Teemu Tainio was back in after a calf injury, Steed Malbranque on the bench. Youngster Adel Taarabt was also on the bench and Phil Ifil returned to the first team squad.
