Our Superleague Formula team is still running second in the championship - but there was disappointment in Portugal over the weekend.
After finishing eighth in the first race of two at the Estoril track, Craig Dolby was forced to retire just a couple of laps into the second race.
It was the first time the team had had failed to finish in four meetings this season and allowed Liverpool to stretch their lead at the top to 58 points.
However, with 50 points for a race win, it's far from over with two meetings and therefore four races still to go.
Craig started in 13th on the grid after a somewhat disappointing qualifying session but fought his way up to eighth in the first race on Sunday morning. That included clocking the second fastest lap. Olympiacos won the race with Liverpool in second and Corinthians third.
He then started 10th on the grid in race two but was soon in mechanical trouble and forced to retire on just the second lap. Porto won this race from Sevilla and Flamengo.
The meeting marked former Formula One driver Sebastien Bourdais' debut for Sevilla and he took the final 'Super Race' and the 100,000 Euro prize for his team.
Overall standings: Liverpool 282 points, SPURS 224, Basel 223, AC Milan 212, Corinthians 211, Porto 203, Anderlecht 189, Olympiacos 178, Rangers 173, Roma 150, Flamengo 150, Atletico Madrid 142, Midtjylland 137, Sporting Lisbon 136, Al-Ain 135, Galatasaray 133, Lyon 104, PSV 95, Sevilla 89.
