Set for a belter

Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Glenn Hoddle is expecting a Premiership cracker against high-flying Newcastle United on Wednesday night.

Only Manchester United and Arsenal have registered more league goals than Bobby Robson's men this season while we've only failed to score in three of our 30 games so far.

Certainly, if both sides maintain the form of their last games - our 5-1 win against Chelsea, Newcastle's 4-2 FA Cup thriller at Peterborough - then we should be in for a treat at the Lane.

Glenn admitted: "I think it will be an entertaining game. I certainly can't see Bobby Robson or myself shutting the door and saying we make sure we keep it tight.

"I think it will be an open game, they are going for the points and are in great form at the moment, in the top five, and we're trying to catch them.

"We've not given up the ghost on that one. We'll still try to climb back up there and there are still enough points to be able to do that.

"It's making it difficult with the squad that's depleted and the cup games on our plate at the moment but in saying that, we're capable of doing it."

"With three points for a win there is a long, long way to go yet.

"There are a lot of points available and if you put together a run of back to back wins and get confidence going you can jump up places quickly. That's what we have to try to achieve."
