Sent to Coventry...then home?

Posted on 6 January 2002  - 12:00

Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

We've been handed a home draw to either Stockport County or Bolton in the fourth round of the FA Cup - as long as we manage to overcome Coventry City in round three.

Recent cup history will be on our side if we manage to progress.

Ironically enough we beat First Division outfit County - now bossed by Carlton Palmer - 4-0 at the Lane at exactly the same stage of the competition last season.

And we hammered Premiership rivals Bolton 6-0 at home in the Worthington Cup quarter-final only last month.

But first we have to beat Coventry City in a tie that has been rearranged for Wednesday January 16 (7.45pm) after Saturday's postponement.

Just a reminder to travelling fans - tickets bought for Saturday's scheduled tie at Highfield Road will be valid.

FA Cup 4th round draw in full:
Brighton or Preston v Sheffield United
Rotherham or Southampton v Crewe or Sheffield Wednesday
Charlton v Walsall or Bradford
Southend or Tranmere v Cardiff
Gillingham v Bristol Rovers
Grimsby or York v Wycombe or Fulham
Darlington or Peterborough United v Newcastle United
Coventry or Spurs v Stockport or Bolton
Norwich or Chelsea v West Ham
Millwall v Barnsley or Blackburn
Cheltenham v Burnley
Everton v Leyton Orient
West Brom v Leicester City
Wimbledon or Middlebrough v Manchester United
Ipswich v Manchester City
Arsenal v Liverpool

Ties to be played on January 26/27.
