Train planning out of Liverpool Street station, the UK's busiest railway station, is quite complex. We are very grateful to National Express East Anglia (One Railway) for their assistance on this night.
On the 22nd January most services to and from Cambridge that evening will be formed by 8 carriage trains, and services to Hertford East will be either 4 or lengthened 8 carriage trains - and all these services will stop at Northumberland Park station for approximately 2 hours before the game.
Due to an engineering blockade, the last trains from Northumberland Park Station will be at 22.57 towards Cheshunt and Hertford and 22.58 towards Liverpool Street. However, if the game runs to penalties, an additional service to Cheshunt, Broxbourne, Harlow and Bishops Stortford will Leave Northumberland Park at 23.10 sharp.
The services to and from White Hart Lane station will run to an improved frequency and the following journeys will be formed by lengthened 8 carriage trains:
Pre-match - Liverpool Street via Seven Sisters to White Hart Lane departing Liverpool Street station at 18.23, 18.53, 19.03, 19.16 and 19.18
Post match - White Hart Lane via Seven Sisters to Liverpool Street departing White Hart Lane at 22.18. 22.33, 22.48, 23.03, 23.15 and 23.24
Post match - White Hart Lane to Enfield departing at 22.24 and 23.54
Post match - White Hart Lane to Cheshunt departing at 22.09, 23.09, 23.13, 23.39 and 23.43.
In addition, if the game finishes in regular time after 90 minutes there will be additional 8 car train services at 22.10 and 22.25 from White Hart Lane to Seven Sisters and Liverpool Street. If the game finishes after extra time there will be two additional 8 car train services at 22.40 and 22.55 on the same route. If the game finishes after extra time and penalties then there will be an additional 8 car train at 22.55 leaving White Hart Lane station.
As a result of the engineering works the late trains to Cambridge and Hertford will leave White Hart Lane, rather than Northumberland Park station, at 23.13, 23.28 and 23.43.
Finally, as a result of the engineering works the Stansted Express services leaving Liverpool Street at 22.55 and 23.25 will call at White Hart Lane on Tuesday evening at 23.09 and 23.39 and will be in 8 car formation.
Please check the timetable for the exact details but there will be no need to hurry away after the game because there will be plenty of train services to get you home.

The London Borough of Haringey's new match-day Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ) will be in force for the second leg of our semi-final against Arsenal on Tuesday night but, following meetings between the Club and One Railway, a new train timetable will be running to and from both White Hart Lane and Northumberland Park stations.
