Sebastien Bassong warns that Chelsea could click back into top form at any moment - and that we have to make sure it's not against us this afternoon.
Much has been made of the Blues' form coming into this potential cracker in the Barclays Premier League at 4pm.
The title holders and last season's double winners have gone four matches without a win in the league and lost at Marseille in the Champions League in midweek.
But Seb insists the squad are taking no notice of form and preparing for what is always one of the headline fixtures on the calender against a team who are always 'serious title contenders'.
"They could come back at any time and we have to make sure it is not against us," said the defender.
"They are still the reigning champions. We have to be careful because you never know when they might click again so we have to be ready."
It was suggested to Seb that we might have the psychological edge over Carlo Ancelotti's men after beating them at home in the last two seasons.
"That's in the past, it is over now," he stated. "The teams are different to last season.
"Chelsea have been struggling of late but they have great pride and they will be wanting to get back to their best and return to the top of the league so it will be a tough game."
