Sebastien Bassong has six points on his wish list over Christmas.
The defender is preparing for our busy spell over the festive period with a trip to Villa on Boxing Day quickly followed by Newcastle at the Lane on December 28.
We then face Fulham at home on New Year's Day before travelling to Everton on Wednesday, January 5.
Seb’s first focus is a tough trip to Villa before a match up with his former club Newcastle.
“We know it’s a tough period but we’re used to it,” said Seb. “We’re looking for six points from those two games because that’s what we need.
“It’s not easy to play two games in two days but it’s the same for everyone and we’ll do our best.
“If we stay fit and focused and continue to believe in what we are doing then I think we will be alright.”
Villa only won one of nine games after we beat them 2-1 in October, but ended that spell with a 2-1 win against West Brom last time out.
“They are not in the best form at the moment but they won their last game and are a good team with some great players,” added Seb.
“We have to be careful in that game. We have to travel there in a good spirit and with a winning spirit.”
