Spurs Ladies are back up to fifth in Women's Super League 2 after securing back-to-back wins in spectacular style against Watford on Thursday night.

Sarah Wiltshire led the way with a hat-trick against her former club with Bianca Baptiste on target twice and Lucia Leon also on the scoresheet.

"I thought it was really good team performance and I always like scoring goals, so it was a good night," said Sarah.

"We've actually been playing well but we haven't been getting the results so this feels good.

"We've been working hard and it feels like it's coming together. We're going to keep building and hopefully put in more performances like this."

Match Report

Tottenham Hotspur Ladies hit Watford with a super six during a dominant 6-0 performance at Cheshunt FC to claim back-to-back victories in the FA Women’s Super League 2.

Spurs were straight on the front foot. Bianca Baptiste led the way - she hit the side-netting, had a goal disallowed and forced Watford goalkeeper Frances Kitching into a fine save all inside 10 minutes.

The bright start was rewarded on 19 minutes when Coral-Jade Haines sent Sarah Wiltshire away and she floated the ball into the far corner for 1-0.

Baptiste went close from 35 yards, Ashleigh Neville hooked wide and on 26 minutes, Haines sent Neville down the right and the move ended with Lucia Leon striking from close range for 2-0.

It was one-way traffic, led by Baptiste. She hit the post on 34 minutes, was denied again by Kitching and then again by an offside flag after lobbing home. Wiltshire struck the woodwork but soon added to her tally, converting Baptiste's cross for 3-0 just before half-time.

The story continued in the second half. On 53 minutes, Haines sent away Leon who set-up Wiltshire for her hat-trick and 4-0.

Kitching tipped away Leon's header, Haines nodded wide, Baptiste was inches away from distance and Haines' piledriver was tipped over.

Baptiste's reward came late in the game with the fifth and sixth goals. On 86 minutes, Josie Green found Baptiste to slot home for 5-0 and three minutes later, Lauren Pickett set-up the in-form forward for the sixth.
