Sandro reckons the English game suits him down to the ground as he continues to improve with every performance in a Spurs shirt.

The Brazilian midfielder has been impressive of late having initially been patient in waiting for his opportunity of regular First Team football.

But having started five of our last six games - including two outstanding displays against AC Milan - it looks as though the 21-year-old will play a key part as we battle to finish in the top four of the Premier League.

However, Sandro knows he still has plenty to learn before being able to call himself established at this level having arrived from Brazil last summer.

He said: “I have worked hard in training to try to learn the English style of football. I don’t feel I have learnt it 100 per cent but I’m nearly there and I will continue to work hard.

“I really enjoy English football because the style of play suits me. It’s stronger and the ball is passed quickly, so that’s why I feel my adaptation has not taken as long.

“It a pleasure to be playing for an English team in the Premier League and it’s a good moment in my life. I want to keep going this way so that this moment lasts a long time.”
