The Brazilian international was the driving force behind a fine first half display against Rovers.
He snapped into tackles - winning nine of 10 in the match - broke up play and looked to get forward, smashing the underside of the crossbar with a thunderbolt from 20 yards in the 10th minute.
Harry Redknapp described Sandro's performance as 'fantastic', but the midfielder was only interested in the win - and Wednesday's trip to the Reebok Stadium.
"It was a very good win, and very important because we’ve lost a few games," said Sandro.
"Now we have to concentrate on the next game and try to get into the Champions League.
"It's another big game, another difficult game. Everyone has to be ready. The last three games are so important for us."
After rattling the crossbar, it was suggested to Sandro that he was due another spectacular goal - just like his 25-yarder at Stamford Bridge a year ago.
"I was close!" he added. "I will try my best to score in the next three games. It's coming..."
