Ryan Mason was on the scoresheet as England's Under-19s ended the first round of European Championship qualifying with a perfect record after a 2-0 victory over Slovakia in Slovenia.
It was only the young forward's second appearance at this level, and he opened the scoring for Noel Blake's men after 64 minutes.
Chelsea's Jacob Mellis added a second late on in a game where defender Adam Smith also played the full 90 minutes on his Under-19 debut.
The victory completes a successful first round campaign for England after wins over Finland last Friday and hosts Slovenia on Sunday.
Dean Parrett, a goalscorer against Finland, was an unused substitute in Lendava, while Steven Caulker was not involved on this occasion having played in the first two games.
