The midfielder returned to Spurs Lodge this week after a month's loan at Championship outfit Coventry City.
Rohan was an instant hit with the Sky Blues and his silky skills made quite an impression in his early games - now he needs to impress Martin Jol.
"It was a positive experience," reflected Rohan on his time at Highfield Road.
"I enjoyed my time and I'm grateful to Coventry and Peter Reid for taking me on loan. The fans treated me well and hopefully I contributed something.
"But I'm glad to be back and see it as another chance. I want to make a big impression on Martin Jol and hopefully work my way back into the side.
"Martin knows about me, I know about him. He's a very good coach and hopefully if I do well he'll give me a chance."
Rohan started five of six games and hit the woodwork after coming on as substitute against Leicester City in what was his final match in his stint at Coventry.
"I enjoyed it," he added. "The manager Peter Reid is funny, gets on well with the players and has good relationships with them.
"We played some good football but unfortunately didn't get the results we all wanted."
Rohan Ricketts is back at Spurs and targeting a return to Premiership action.
