IT WAS a great win at Ewood Park and you have to say we deserved it. It's been very difficult for us over the last few weeks but we picked up three good points against Middlesbrough and followed it up against Blackburn. To have picked ourselves up after what happened in the Carling Cup against Liverpool, especially when it was our third game in six days, was a massive achievement.
MANCHESTER CITY are next and it's another tough one. They are a good team, very attacking, but they can also be got at so hopefully we'll go there and put in another good performance like we did at Blackburn. We've had a week to work on the training ground as well and I'd like to think we can do the same.
EVERYONE will be looking at myself and David James because of the England angle. He was great when I took over for England, unbelievable. It's obviously a very difficult situation to be in but the was he was with me was great. He basically put his arm around me and said no hard feelings, good luck, wished me all the best, said he hoped it went well and if I needed anything to go an speak to him. It's all about the goalkeepers' union! He's a good lad Jamo, a good bloke, but I'm hoping we'll stick a few past him on Saturday - we'll then be friends again after the game.
