THE FULHAM GAME did not prove to be the best of afternoons for us and we didn't play well. It improved slightly in the second half but it was a disappointing performance all in all.
We have now suffered three Premiership defeats on the spin after a good spell and football goes like that sometimes. It is about how you react to it, we have a massive game on Saturday against Charlton and have got to start picking up some points.
We still look solid at the back and are not getting hammered, it is the odd goal or two. We need to start scoring more, we know that. Hopefully things will start clicking back into place and we will get into winning ways.
I have got to keep playing well myself, keep on at the boys in front of me and hopefully we will start picking up points by scoring goals as well.
CHARLTON ARE A very good team, every game in the Premiership seems to be difficult. I've been told about their record at White Hart Lane and too many people seem to be saying that at the moment and we've got to put a stop to it - starting on Saturday.
Charlton look to have a good team on paper but have struggled a bit in the last few weeks. Hopefully we can take advantage of that and beat them, we don't want to help them get their form back, just to make sure we get ourselves back on track.
BURNLEY COME AFTER Charlton in the Carling Cup and we definitely can't take them for granted. We've done well in the cup this year and I think the draw was friendly to us. No disrespect to Burnley, but it is a game we should win.
We are in a lose-lose situation because we are expected to win but we must do the business.
