I'M aware there were a few question marks over the England performance against Holland last week but, from a personal point of view, I'm playing every game now. This is very pleasing and the good thing on the night was to keep a clean sheet. So personally I was pleased but it's a team game and I'm part of the team - so I shouldn't be exempt from any criticism.
I THOUGHT we played very poorly in the first half against West Brom in the FA Cup on Saturday. I had a few saves to make but, as I always say, that's my job and what I'm there for. We changed the formation at half-time, Martin Jol had a few choice words, I did as well and a few others, but we sorted ourselves out and put it right in the second half. We're a good team but in the first half we looked like we'd never met each other, let alone played together. It was our worst performance of the season apart from the second half at Palace. We put it right and hopefully we can build on that against Forest this Sunday.
FOREST are struggling but it's the FA Cup, the cup competition and there are always shocks. Every game is a tough game and Forest are in the fifth round on merit. It's a home draw and hopefully we can progress. We can't afford to get too carried away. It's the old cliche, but we have to take each game as it comes. Nottingham Forest is our next priority and we have to get past them and into the draw for the next round - then it's two more games from Cardiff.
