Less than a fortnight after the Carling Cup Final we’re back into cup competition against the Dutch giants in the UEFA Cup Round of 16 over two legs. The first leg is at the Lane on Thursday (March 6, 8.05pm) and the return in Eindhoven on Wednesday week (March 12, 7.45pm UK time).
PSV need little introduction. Champions League regulars and semi-finalists in 2005, they arrive at the Lane six points clear from Ajax at the top of the Dutch Eredivisie.

“It’s a massive game and one all players want to play in,” said the goalkeeper. “I’m sure we surprised a few people by winning the Carling Cup this season and there is no reason why we can’t do the same in the UEFA Cup.
“PSV are a strong team and a massive club. They always do well in UEFA competitions, whether it’s the Champions League or UEFA Cup. They are running away with their league again at the moment and we’re expecting a very tough tie over two legs.”
