Robbie Keane is itching to play a part in tonight's Premiership clash at Bolton.
The Irish star, nine goals to his name since his move from Leeds, has been sidelined with a knee injury for almost six weeks.
But he reported no problems on his return to training and can't wait to get back in action.
"I've been training well since last week," said Robbie. "I don't feel match fit because I haven't played for a month but I feel sharp and it would be good to play a part on Monday.
"The injuries I had during the games weren't a problem. Every game I seemed to get a different one but I twisted the knee against Sunderland and these things happen.
"It's been very frustrating, of course, no-one likes injuries and I'm no different.
"It is hard watching the boys play when you are desperate to be out there. It's hard to keep yourself motivated but we've great people around us here.
"The physios have been great with me, I'm back in full training and I'm looking forward to getting back into the swing of things."
