Speaking after the 3-0 win before heading off on international duty, Robbie, who scored our third goal, was purring over the Frenchman's 42nd minute stunner.
"It was an exceptional goal, what you have seen is world class finishing and Fredi is capable of doing that," he said, before agreeing that playing Everton at home seems to do wonders for his own goal output.
"Yes, I was lucky enough to score again after scoring a hat-trick last time we played them. It was not about me scoring though, the most important thing was getting the result and that's what we did.
"We worked hard as a team and played very well," added Robbie, who hopes the side have now turned the corner after the early season disappointments. "We needed a bit of luck somewhere along the line, we weren't playing well and luck wasn't going with us. Here we played well, worked hard and it showed in the result we got."
Robbie Keane says supporters at the Lane on Saturday were treated to an example of world class finishing from his strike partner Fredi Kanoute.
