Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

The Club has been approached by a service called Road Pals who can help supporters get to games, save money and help the environment all at the same time!

Road Pals are a journey sharing website aimed at reducing the number of cars on the roads by encouraging people to share their journeys.

How it works:

• An individual registers on the Road Pals website as a member and opens an account
• Once a security check has been completed, they can then log any journey that they are planning to make
• That individual is then matched to another member making the same journey
• The website calculates cost of journey to the passenger before they commit to it
• A convenient meeting place is arranged and the journey then takes place
• On completion of the journey a payment is made from the passenger to the driver via the Road Pals site

What are the benefits?

• A reduction in traffic and parking problems around the Ground
• A reduction in pollution
• A cost saving for the driver
• Possibly cheaper than public transport for the passenger
