The big defender managed only eight games after the turn of the year last season having made a massive contribution to our promising start to the season.
Achilles, back and knee injuries were the cause of his absence but he reported no problems throughout our mid-summer fitness top up last week.
"I feel good," he revealed. "I've had a good rest, my back has cleared up, my Achilles has cleared up and fingers crossed next season I'm looking to be involved in every single game.
"Perhaps that's optimistic but if I can avoid niggling injuries there's no reason I can't do it."
Hopefully that will be approaching 50 games. "Yes, the cup competitions were a big disappointment last season," added Deano. "It keeps the season alive and that's one area we're looking to improve on next time around."
Dean Richards has shifted his nagging injuries and is targeting ever-present status next season.
