The Swiss youngster was thrown into a typical helter-skelter game as we defended a 1-0 lead against Everton last time out.
And although admitting he barely saw the ball, Reto loved every second of his 11-minute stint at Goodison Park.
"It was a dream for me," said Reto, just back from international duty with Switzerland U21s in Israel. "And I hope I will have another chance against Portsmouth.
"It was much quicker than the Swiss Championship. After five minutes at Everton, I needed a drink! It was quick and all new for me. The next time I will be ready.
"I know it is not easy because only 16 players are involved but I will do my best.
"Of course I want more now and I think when I train well I will have a chance."
