The first half was all about our attacking play, controlled football, possession and pace on the break as goals from Jan Vertonghen and Gareth Bale stunned the home crowd and sent us in 2-0 up at half-time.
The second half was all about character and defensive resistance as United, inspired by the arrival of Wayne Rooney off the bench, threw everything at us.
The teams exchanged blows with three goals in just over two minutes - Clint Dempsey scoring his first Spurs goal - to leave us 3-2 up with 35 minutes remaining.
Needless to say, United threw everything at us in search of an equaliser but we held firm to secure a famous first win at Old Trafford since 1989.
"We were outstanding in the first and second half, but in different ways," said Andre.
"The first in our offensive football and attack-minded work, in the second in how defensively disciplined and concentrated we were to get the result we wanted.
"It was a game almost of two halves, but where the desire and ambition remained the same from first to second. It’s a night of great happiness for everyone and everyone feels inspired by the result."
Asked what he was particularly impressed with, Andre added: "There are so many things. Both centre-halves, both full-backs were so disciplined, tremendous commitment from everyone in the first and second half, desire to play in the first half, desire to defend in the second half.
"There were some great, great performances from players who are a inspiration to everyone."
