A three-goal burst in five minutes completely turned around Thursday afternoon's reserve team friendly against Ipswich Town held behind-closed-doors at the Lane.

Our young team led 1-0 via Alex Olsen and looked set for victory until goals after 78, 81 and 83 minutes saw Ipswich home.

Striker Olsen, on for the unlucky Tomas Pekhart, injured inside five minutes, finished in style one-on-one after 37 minutes to cap a bright first half performance.

We continued to press in the second half and were denied twice in the space of a minute when corners from David Hutton were met by Callum Butcher and Troy Archibald-Henville respectively only to see both efforts hacked off the line.

Lee Butcher made a fine save just before the hour as the balance of power began to shift in the visitors' favour and then the three-goal blast with Liam Trotter, Reggie Lambe and Jordan Rhodes on target.

Spurs: Jansson (L Butcher, 46), Mtandari (Cox, 74), Hutchins, Archibald-Henville, C Butcher, Fraser-Allen (Townsend, 55), Livermore, Rose, Hutton (Davis, 74), Pekhart (Olsen, 4).
