Respect for Rovers

Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Glenn Hoddle says he's liked what he's seen of Blackburn Rovers this season.

The boss was at The Hawthorns to see at first hand Rovers' 2-0 victory against West Brom on Monday and describes Graeme Souness' outfit as having 'talent across the board'.

Glenn said: "Graeme was a good passer and he wants his teams to pass the ball.

"I saw Tugay play against West Brom and it was one of the best midfield displays in terms of keeping the ball that I've seen all season. He makes them tick.

"You've got Duff, who proved in the World Cup that he's a class, class player, Andy Cole, Dwight Yorke might not be fit but they've talent across the board.

"You've got young Dunn, whose in and around the England scene now and young Thompson, who has another chance in the Premiership.

"They are playing very well and Graeme will be in a better frame of mind with his squad than he was last season.

"The difference is there is a depth to the squad this year. They've got cover at the back, midfield and certainly up front.

"They've had injuries but coped and dealt with it. You can cope with three or four, but our scenario, over 10, is a little different.

"They are in good form. John Gorman and myself went to watch them at West Brom where they played within themselves first half but second half controlled the game. They've got match winners."
