Harry Redknapp insists Rubin Kazan's recent record in Europe commands respect ahead of tonight's clash in the Europa League.
Champions of Russia in 2008 and 2009, Rubin have competed in the Champions League in the last three seasons.
They famously beat Barcelona in the Nou Camp and took four points off the Catalan giants in 2009-10 and met them again in the group stages last season, this time drawing at home.
On both occasions, Rubin finished third in the group and moved into the UEFA Cup/Europa League, going out at the last 16 and last 32 stage respectively.
This time around they beat Dynamo Kiev in third round qualifying only to lose to Lyon in the play-offs.
They travel to the Lane with an identical record to us in Group A - a draw against PAOK and win against Shamrock Rovers.
"We seen videos of Rubin and know all about their record," said Harry. "To beat Barcelona means they are a good team and we have great respect for them.
"I certainly think they will be one of the strongest teams in the Europa League this season.
"We believe we can beat anyone at home and we will be aiming to do that again in order to enhance our prospects of progressing to the knockout stages of this competition."
