Noe Pamarot, Anthony Gardner and Goran Bunjevcevic will continue to pick up match fitness following their returns from injury, while there are also places for Stephen Kelly, Sean Davis and Grzegorz Rasiak.
With the next reserve encounter not coming around until mid-January, Clive insists it is vital to head into the winter break on the back of another win.
"It is very important," said the Development Coach this morning. "The team changes a little bit again and we've perhaps got more seniors than usual involved tonight with a view certainly towards the run of games the first team have coming up over the Christmas period.
"We are looking to have all our fit players up to speed should they be in the squad and involved over Christmas.
"From a reserve point of view, results have been good and everybody is aware of the spirit within the group. We are aiming to maintain that with a good result.
"It is difficult having another break in games, but the lads have handled them very well this year. We've had the odd friendly game and managed to do some specific work - training-wise - during those periods of inactivity. It has not been too detrimental, but this is a longer one, and a few of the younger pros will have a break over Christmas.
"With the way they've worked they deserve it and hopefully they will come back as enthusiastic for the second part of the season."
Squad: Burch, Kelly, Pamarot, Gardner, Bunjevcevic, Barcham, Davis, O'Hara, Hallfredsson, Barnard, Rasiak, Lee, Forecast, Daniels, Jackson, McKenna.
Clive Allen takes a strong reserve side to Boreham Wood tonight with Watford providing the opposition in our final game of the year.
