Our Reserve side rounded off their mini-tour of the north east and Scotland with a 2-2 draw against Celtic in Glasgow.

It was the second of two friendly games Clive Allen's side played this week having beaten Middlesbrough 2-1 on Tuesday.

The second string took this form into today's encounter, getting their noses in-front before half-time.

And although Celtic equalised soon after the break, a goal from Alex Olsen (pictured) appeared to be sending us on our way to a second win.

But another equliser from the hosts 10 minutes from time denied us this honour, although Clive was delighted with how the week went.

He said: "It was a fantastic trip and a good experience for the lads against what was quality opposition on both occasions.

"Both matches were played to a very high standard and I believe we can take a lot out of this week."
