Reserves at the Lane

Posted on 11 April 2001  - 12:00

Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Our reserve side takes to the field at White Hart Lane tonight (Wednesday) in a re-arranged fixture against Nottingham Forest.

Kick-off is at 7pm (admission free) and manager Theo Foley seeks his second win in a row since taking charge following Chris Hughton's elevation to first team coach.

A very young side secured victory at Leicester last time out and Theo will be hoping that playing at the Lane will inspire the youngsters to greater heights.

Dave McEwen will be aiming to build on his two-goal show at Filbert Street and he could be joined in attack by Willem Korsten. Matthew Etherington is a probable starter, Ian Walker is likely to return in goal, while Alton Thelwell might also feature.
