Calum Davenport returns to reserve action after injury against Crystal Palace tonight, while Danny Murphy is also added to the side.

The central defender has been suffering from a hamstring problem which proved a significant setback after an impressive sequence of games. He returns alongside Goran Bunjevcevic at the heart of defence, with Hossam Ghaly, Tom Huddlestone and Andy Reid also set for action.

"I hope we have an edge to our team, we will be considered a strong side tonight and it is important for a number to be up to speed in order to stake a claim for a first team place," reasoned coach Clive Allen.

"With the magnitude of the games coming up for the first team, we need as many players ready as possible.

"Calum is back from injury, which is good to see, he was in great form and was unfortunate to pick up a hamstring injury."

Squad: Burch, McKenna, Davenport, Bunjevcevic, Jackson, Marney, Ghaly, Huddlestone, Murphy, Reid, Barnard, Barcham, Mills, Lewis, Martin, Forecast.
