Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Colin Calderwood lamented the defensive lapses that cost his side dear in the reserve defeat to Arsenal on Monday at Barnet.

After beginning brightly in the first period, the home side - featuring the likes of Dennis Bergkamp, Ray Parlour, Kanu and Edu - seized the initiative after capitalising on uncertainty at the back and raced into a 3-0 lead at half-time - with another goal coming shortly after the break.

"Mistakes contribute to it but, overall, we made the problem a little bit bigger than it was," commented Colin afterwards. "There was a problem there and from 1-11 they were stronger.

"A lot of things we didn't do right and when you add in the fact that they had a strong side and then add that we gave them three goals in the first half - it makes it a long night for them.

"What we will take from it is that they have been in the spotlight and have shown up all their frailities in front of everyone who has been here. It's a harsh lesson and we have nothing to be too proud about in the way we went about it.

"Irrespective of the team they had, we've got to do better than that."
