Goals from Milenko Acimovic and Jamie Slabber sealed the excellent victory and Colin revealed that he needed to say little afterwards as he feels actions on the pitch speak louder than words off it.
"I am very happy with the performance, it was quite enjoyable," beamed the Scot. "You hope that you get more occasions when you can play in that manner and can enjoy it.
"The only thing I said to them after the game is that you don't really need anyone to say anything to you - you know within yourself if you've done well. You can see the benefits of how you've trained during the week and hopefully they've seen that here.
"The young ones showed good maturity, more aggression than they've shown on other occasions and a willingness to work - not just for themselves but for the man next to them.
"We had a nice start, that gave everyone a bit of confidence and that always helps in a game. Our experienced players had a big influence, Milo up front and Neil Sullivan at the other end.
"Overall I'm extremely happy."
